Penglipuran, The Traditional Village

Penglipuran village is the best place to combine your Bali tour to Kintamani village. Because it still in one way. You dont know Kintamani? read my article here. Penglipuran is well known as a traditional village which has a strong local regulation about their house construction and architecture.

When the first entering the Penglipuran village, you will be amazed with the clean and tidy village. Look at the family house. Between one house to the other house has the same architecture. Wow..  this is the harmony of life that people in the world want it.



After you pay the ticket, you will get the number. for the first, i don't really understand what it is for. till i ask the man and he said that it is the house number. You may to visit the family house there which with the number given to you.

You will be able to come into the family house and look around. You may visit the family temple, the traditional balinese kitchen, look at the back yard (there are some pig or cows as their pets). You can get closer to the local people and asking anything about their life (some of them can speak English well).

They also provide some handicrafts from the bamboos Jungle. If you are interesting with those product, you can buy one as your appreciation to the local people.
